Why are these changes being made?
We are implementing these new changes to streamline our billing process and enhance user experience. Currently, Monthly Plan users can add/remove books throughout their entire billing cycle. Not only does this introduce a complicated billing process, but it also presents challenges for customers as they attempt to add/remove books. Our new Monthly Plan options simplify this process, reducing transaction frequency and making eBook access more seamless for an improved user experience.
When are these changes being made?
These changes will be implemented on January 17, 2024.
Will I be automatically enrolled in a new plan?
Your current plan will remain unchanged until you decide to make alterations to the books in your Plan. Should you wish to make any adjustments to your book selections on or after January 17, 2024, you will be required to switch to either a Limited or Unlimited Monthly Plan or consider our Yearly Plans.
Do these changes apply to Monthly and Yearly plans?
No, these changes only apply to Monthly Plans. Our Yearly Plans will remain unchanged because they require fewer recurring billing transactions.
What if I only need access to one specific book?
If you are interested in only one specific book, we suggest exploring our Limited Monthly Plan or our Yearly Plan. With the Limited Plan, you can use 1 Book Credit to gain full access to your desired book. Alternatively, you can explore our Yearly Plans which allow you to purchase full access to any number of books desired.
If I am enrolled in a Limited Plan, who can redeem Book Credits on my account?
Adults, teachers and license administrators will be able to redeem Book Credits. Children and students will not have the ability to redeem Book Credits.
How do I redeem a Book Credit?
Redeeming a Book Credit is easy! When you click to read a book as normal, a pop up window will now appear. You will be prompted to either open the book preview (11 pages) or use 1 Book Credit for full access. To redeem a Book Credit, click Use 1 Book Credit & Get Full Access. You can find your Full Access books at the top of the library listed under Full Access Books.
